This week we're focusing on a key factor that can affect a woman's mood during pregnancy - the relationship between the sexes
Paper topics：' A community perspective on the role of fathers during pregnancy: a qualitative study ’
Activities and details of fathers during pregnancy:
1、Participate in the birth examination and paternity
2、Provide physical and emotional support to help mothers make decisions and make family plans.
3、Encourage your mother, affirm her body image, listen patiently, and help her vent.
4、Act as a protector to provide financial stability and to avoid harmful maternal and infant behaviors (smoking)
Benefits of male partner participation:
1、Reducing negative maternal effects (such as psychological stress during pregnancy) is conducive to the development and health of the fetus and newborn.
2、Reduce the divorce rate during pregnancy
Obstacles for male partners：
1、Lack of understanding of relevant knowledge
2、Lack of consensus and empathy for the new identity (fatherhood)
3、An unhealthy relationship with your mother
The solution：
1、Free one-on-one counseling and counseling for fathers-to-be
2、Policy bias (humanized arrangement of working hours for father-to-be)
3、Community services (popular Science activities, parent-child activities)

My inspirations and thoughts on this article:
When a woman's body changes, how does the relationship between the sexes (the relationship between husband and wife) be maintained emotionally? One of the fundamental factors for paternal involvement is the emotional foundation between father and mother.

————“In this situation, the father’s care can be a source of well-being for the infant (Erlandsson, Dsilna, Fagerberg, & Christensson, 2007). It is generally acknowledged that the baby is in need of close bodily contact, warmth, and attachment following birth (Bowlby, 1998; Klaus et al., 1995), and fathers can help ful-fill those needs (Erlandsson et al., 2007).”
My idea: A newborn needs intimate physical contact. Through this sentence, I think about whether the design content includes delivery and ultimately the birth of a newborn. Dependence on your father? Studies have shown that a fetus's hearing system is fully developed around 26 weeks of gestation, allowing it to sense sounds from the outside world. Does a father's prenatal education create a sense of memory for the fetus and promote post-natal dependence on the father?

————“Fibo, as a work in progress, explores the semi uncharted territory of pregnancy devices for partners, linking the partner to a fetus. As Jung et al. [6] explain: “The meaning of an object can only be ascertained by linking it with something of value, and something of value can gain meaning by being linked to something else of value. What really makes the difference is the nature of the linkage”. In this work, we explore three linkages which we’ve derived from our experiences with Fibo: identity, enabling stories, and designing for subtlety [13].”
My idea: An object (emotional ties, stories, memories) that links a pregnant woman, a partner, and a child.
